Psychiatrist Director

Northwell Health's Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Director Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric consultations and follow-up visits to medical/surgical inpatients. The ideal candidate should be energetic and innovative and enjoy a collaborative, team-based approach.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating and treating patients with behavioral complications from medical illness, complications from medications, psychiatric disorders that are co-morbid with medical conditions, and medical complications of different psychiatric disorders.
- Teaching opportunities exist within our resident program.
