Quality Assurance Manufacturing Supervisor

RED Digital Cinema, a premier name at the intersection of manufacturing, technology, and media production, is in search of a Manufacturing Quality Lead to guide a dynamic QA team and infuse technical knowledge along with a culture of continuous improvement into the organization’s quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective communication with senior management to meet daily operational targets, capabilities, and performance standards.
  • Supervise a team of 5 to 6 quality assurance technicians.
  • Draft, review, and validate quality assurance protocols and product specifications to guarantee compliance and uphold product excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and execute strategies to efficiently meet daily objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration among various departments (manufacturing, engineering, warehouse, shipping, and receiving) to optimize daily operations and product output.
  • Provide training and mentorship to both new and existing quality and manufacturing personnel within a production environment.
  • Conduct analyses and investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions for non-conformances.
  • Perform internal compliance audits for the Manufacturing and Quality departments.
  • Manage customer returns through a quality-controlled process, providing analytical feedback to the Customer Service Department.
  • Support production lines with Quality Material Board Review (MRB) assistance.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Associate's Degree in Metallurgical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, or Mechanical fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of Quality Assurance Systems and Applications, including ISO 9001.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting customer delivery timelines and a willingness to work overtime.
  • Exceptional technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
