Mammography Coordinator Lead

As a Mammography Coordinator Lead, you will provide lead/resource support for management in the efficient and effective delivery of mammography services. This role requires excellent patient care through appropriate supervision, evaluation, and adequate training of departmental personnel, procurement/maintenance of equipment, QA/QI, development of appropriate policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, and protocol development.
Department DescriptionThe Diagnostic Imaging teams at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing healthcare teams with the information needed for a fast, accurate diagnosis. Our imaging services include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services. We now offer PET-CT scans, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and one of the most powerful imaging tools that physicians can use to help diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other diagnoses.
Responsibilities- Provide lead/resource support for management in the efficient and effective delivery of mammography services.
- Promote excellent patient care through appropriate supervision, evaluation, and adequate training of departmental personnel.
- Procure and maintain equipment, ensuring compliance with QA/QI standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance and protocol development.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential required.
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required.
- Current ARRT Mammography certification or equivalent required.
- Three (3) years mammographer experience required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
