About the Role:

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production of heating and cooling units for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex cooling systems and mild steel enclosures using hand and power tools.
  • Work individually or as part of a team to build entire products or components.
  • Follow blueprints and perform brazing tasks to ensure high-quality products.
  • Stand throughout the shift and perform rotational assignments as needed.

Requirements:

  • No previous manufacturing experience is required, but a desire to get into manufacturing is essential.
  • 3+ months of assembly experience is a plus.
  • Any sort of construction or hand and power tool experience is also a plus.

Work Environment:

Aerotek offers a high-speed environment where you will work on building products from blueprints. The role involves a lot of movement and requires flexibility to assist in multiple areas.

Shifts and Overtime:

Shifts are available on 1st shift from 7:30am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 11:30pm. Overtime is mandatory and typically scheduled well in advance. Occasional mandatory Saturdays may be required, especially during summer, with advance notice.
