We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Executive to join our team at Fifth Third Bank. Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales goals while prioritizing customer needs and interests.
- Develop and conduct coaching sessions with retail bank employees to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
- Plan and execute individual and group meetings with clients to review existing accounts and close sales.
- Handle daily client needs and problems, and delegate tasks to resolve issues efficiently.
- Post-appointment follow-up to maintain relationships and develop referrals from existing client bases.
- Manage sales planning for self and team to drive sales growth, customer experience, and financial results.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all financial products through self-study, periodicals, and relevant coursework.
- Ability to delegate tasks and follow-through on commitments.
- Prepare internal reports for sales tracking and coordinate with team members on a daily basis.
- Conduct internal and external seminars to focus on business development and growth.
- Prioritize client needs and introduce services of other Fifth Third Bank employees, such as loans, estate planning, and deposits.
- Serve as a coach and mentor for licensed bank employees, guiding them towards established goals.
- Recognize and reward achievement of goals.
- Prior brokerage industry experience.
- Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) and relevant state required insurance licenses (exception: 7 and 63 in Michigan and Ohio) are required. Variable Annuity license is required.
- Motivated by commission sales, recognition programs, and internal sales competition among coworkers.
- Ability to motivate others in a team environment.
- Ability to transfer knowledge through highly developed coaching and teaching skills, and simplify complex financial concepts.
- Proven experience in building strong internal and external client relationships.
- Highly developed knowledge of the securities business, investment products, and financial solutions.
- Highly developed sales and presentation skills.
- Travel required within assigned territory.
