About the Job

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Global Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including installation, alignment, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions, and implement effective repair procedures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform gas and electric welding operations, and fabricate parts as needed.
  • Robotics and Automation: Troubleshoot and repair ABB robots, and navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software.
  • Machine Shop Operations: Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of machine repair and maintenance activities, and perform associated handling duties.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 4+ years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
  • Education: Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses).
  • Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
