Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Aide PRN to join our rehabilitation team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN/LPN. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, reporting abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff, and maintaining a clean and orderly patient environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with toileting, bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation
  • Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean and orderly patient environment
  • Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients
Requirements
  • Current Kentucky CNA certification with current listing on the Kentucky Board of Nursing Nurse Aide Registry
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
