Job Summary

We're seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our team in the Recovery department. As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will perform basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN. You will report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. You will assist with keeping patient care areas and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with keeping patient care areas and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
  • Participate actively in performance improvement, departmental meetings, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship both within the department and with other departments for the benefit of the patient.
Requirements
  • Current Kentucky CNA certification with current listing on the Kentucky Board of Nursing Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
