Job Title: Night Shift Production Supervisor

Pactiv Evergreen is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fresh foodservice and food merchandising products. We are seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Night Shift Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing and directing all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality. This role will supervise a team of 80+ employees and coordinate with the Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct production activities to meet quality and productivity standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of production team members
  • Coordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to meet production goals
  • Appraise performance and reward or discipline employees as needed
  • Address complaints and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis
  • Support and improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals
  • Ensure safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly, and revised as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in group situations
  • Ability to deal effectively with conflict in a mature and consistent manner
  • Good computer skills
  • SAP experience preferred
