Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance group and ensure equipment is maintained to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and supervise maintenance crews to maintain equipment and meet production goals.
  • Oversee work performed by maintenance crews and outside contractors to ensure timely and quality completion.
  • Manage urgent or breakdown jobs to minimize downtime and maintain equipment efficiency.
  • Develop and motivate direct reports to create a reliable and competent workforce.
  • Provide technical assistance to maintenance personnel to resolve problems efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to lead others with or without direct authority.
  • Working knowledge of the cement manufacturing process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MSHA regulations and guidelines.
