Job Summary

As a Sexual Assault/Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response Specialist, you will serve as a key member of the installation's Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and advocacy to victims of sexual assault and harassment, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and services to aid in their recovery. You will work closely with the installation's Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on sexual assault and harassment prevention and response. Additionally, you will represent the SAPR program at both military and civilian agencies, promoting a culture of respect and accountability. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Sexual Assault/Sexual Harassment Victim Advocate, providing support and follow-up contact with victims throughout the lifecycle of the case.
• Maintain a high level of discretion when handling sensitive information and ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Collaborate with the SARC to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on sexual assault and harassment prevention and response.
• Represent the SAPR program at both military and civilian agencies, promoting a culture of respect and accountability.
• Work closely with installation leadership to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
• At least one year of specialized experience in a related field, including experience in victim advocacy, sexual assault response, and training development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
