Company Overview:

Dynatech International is a leading Commercial and Defense supply chain company providing long-term, complex procurement, engine overhaul, rotable and repair management services, manufacturing, and kitting solutions across land, air, sea, and space programs.

Position Description:

The Procurement Specialist III plays a critical role in the success of our supply chain operations. This position is responsible for researching, identifying, and evaluating sources for products needed for client quotations, contracts, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry-specific vendors.
  • Purchase high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in the correct amounts.
  • Prepare purchase orders, submit RFQ's, and review requisitions for goods and services.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, and distribution capabilities.
  • Analyze price proposals and other data to determine reasonable prices.
  • Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives to increase supplier consolidation.
  • Maintain and review records of items purchased.
  • Directly support the sales team by evaluating and identifying long-term agreements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Six (6) years' experience with sourcing product in at least one of the following platforms: aviation, seagoing vessels, and/or military land vehicles.
  • Experience using ILS, Parts Base, Haystack, and other inventory locating databases.
  • Significant exposure to FAR/DFAR, NSN, and export compliance.
  • Aerospace or defense experience preferred.
  • Engineering and/or technical background a plus.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
