Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the plasma collection process and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate donor reactions and respond accordingly
  • Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required
  • Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
  • Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when in need of guidance on medical or technical issues
  • Support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
  • Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
  • Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
