Medical Support Specialist

As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at BioLife Plasma Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of plasma donations. Your expertise in medical procedures and patient care will be essential in determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, and reviewing laboratory test results.
You will work closely with the Center Manager and Center Physician to provide medical support and guidance to the plasma collection team. Your commitment to customer service and quality will be evident in your interactions with donors and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion.
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies.
- Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
- Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER.
BioLife Plasma Services offers a competitive compensation package, including a U.S. hourly wage range of $21.15 - $29.09.
