The Caregiver Med Passer is a vital member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional care and services to our residents. This role requires a high degree of quality and attention to detail, ensuring the safe and organized administration of medications and treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner
- Document medication administration and resident care in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Assist residents with self-administration of medications
- Count narcotics in accordance with company policy
- Participate in the life enrichment program and honor personhood by reading and knowing residents' life stories
- Comply with company training requirements and demonstrate a high level of safety and privacy of resident information
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous Med Passer experience required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
- Ability to make decisions and act in the resident's best interest
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniors
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
