Job Summary

Rogers Freels & Associates Inc is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for engaging directly with the new product development of off-road equipment projects while coordinating engineering support between RFA Engineering and our customers engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on new product development of off-highway mobile equipment
  • Coordinate with other management groups to develop strategies and timelines
  • Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams from RFA Engineering and the client to meet project deadlines
  • Use CAD Software to assist in the 3-D Modeling of components, sheet metal, and possibly hydraulic routings, including component analysis
  • Provide guidance as a technical resource to support design and other departmental needs
  • Compile and furnish necessary information (engineering decisions, models, drawings, and reports) to drive product to production status
  • Develop business relationships with customers, dealers, and suppliers which may include travel domestic and international
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture, Industrial Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline
  • Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies
  • Experience with new product development process
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
Desired Attributes
  • Experience in 3-D Modeling Software - SolidWorks Preferred
  • Prior usage of PDM or CAD vault system
  • Experience managing teams or multiple projects
  • 2-6 Years experience with product design or continuous improvement
