**About the Role**
5 Legal, a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced associate to join its Transactions Practice Group in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Counsel mutual funds and exchange-traded funds on regulatory matters, including compliance with the Investment Advisers Act.
- Advise boards of trustees of mutual funds and exchange-traded funds on corporate governance and best practices.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, private funds, proxy contests, and insider trading matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior partners and clients.
- Contribute to a fast-paced and growing environment with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic.
**Requirements**
- JD from an ABA-approved law school.
- Active member of the Bar of the state(s) where admitted to practice.
- Timely admission to the Wisconsin Bar will be a condition of employment.
