We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographer Technician PRN to join our team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients with heart conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate analysis of cardiac anatomy and interpret study results to assess patient condition.
- Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
- Assist physicians during procedures and monitor physiological parameters to ensure patient safety.
- Operate and troubleshoot echocardiogram equipment to ensure high-quality images and efficient procedures.
- Transport echocardiogram equipment to patient rooms and transport patients to the department as needed.
- Take call after regular hours to ensure 24/7 patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Vascular/Cardiac Sonography.
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Preferred: Registered Diagnostic Sonographer and two years of echocardiogram experience.
