Echocardiographer Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographer Tech to join our team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will be responsible for performing accurate analyses of cardiac anatomy and interpreting studies to assess patient care.

• Utilize advanced communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Assist physicians during procedures and monitor physiological parameters.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment in the Echo Lab to ensure quality care.
• Transport Echo machines to patient rooms or transport patients to the department as needed.
• Take call after regular hours.

• Graduate of an accredited program in Vascular/Cardiac Sonography.
• Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
