Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer Tech PRN to join our team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will be responsible for performing accurate analyses of cardiac anatomy and interpreting studies to assess patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
  • Assist physicians during procedures and monitor physiological parameters.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating and troubleshooting equipment in the Echo Lab.
  • Perform high-quality care within defined areas of accountability.
  • Transport Echo machines and patients as necessary.
  • Take call after regular hours.
Requirements
  • Required: Allied Health, CVT, or Nursing background.
  • Preferred: Two years of Echo experience.
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited program in Vascular/Cardiac Sonography and additional courses in management. Confirmation letter from ARDMS with test date by the first anniversary date of employment. Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Preferred: Registered Diagnostic Sonographer.
