The Culinary Specialist is tasked with the preparation of food items according to established recipes, ensuring the highest quality standards to create visually appealing and delicious dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare meals in alignment with brand standards and guidelines.
2. Adhere to certification requirements relevant to the role, including Food Handlers Safety Training.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas in compliance with health regulations.
4. Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to service to guarantee prompt and efficient guest service.
5. Familiarize oneself with the location and operation of all safety equipment.
6. Assist in the storage and rotation of food items according to company procedures.
7. Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and optimizing cost-effectiveness.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to obtain Food Handlers Certification.
- Capability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient reading skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Commitment to serving all guests.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen setting is preferred.
