Job Summary

The Culinary Cook is a key member of the Legends team, responsible for the food preparation, execution, and delivery of safely handled food to the customer-facing employees for service. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are available when needed.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all menus, including specials and seasonal offerings.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and menu promotions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to read and retain information, including recipes, menus, and signage.
  • Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to perform simple calculations.
  • Ability to speak and read Basic English.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
