- Collecting essential borrower details

- Gather pertinent information from clients and external partners, such as title companies and real estate professionals, applying sound judgment to determine necessary documentation for underwriting approval.

- Oversee the application pipeline to ensure compliance with critical timelines, including consent, lock periods, and anticipated closing dates, while maintaining communication with clients regarding requirements.

- Manage marketing initiatives for the assigned Home Lending Officer, which encompasses:
- Organizing marketing materials
- Following up on potential customer leads
- Participating in open houses and real estate events.

- Collaborate with Operations teams to facilitate the smooth transition of loan applications, ensuring all required documents are provided to processors and any additional information is gathered as needed.

- Address customer inquiries and foster relationships with clients in the assigned portfolio.

- Exercise sound risk assessment in business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Mortgage or Loan Origination.
- Banking experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree or High School diploma/equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant Loan Origination experience.

Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of lending products and services, including pricing options.
- Ability to understand and explain financial calculations and pricing structures.
- Strong communication skills to guide customers on necessary documentation for loan acquisition.
- Familiarity with consumer lending laws and regulations, including fair lending and privacy standards.
- Self-motivated individuals who can work independently or collaboratively to drive branch or community growth.

This role requires registration as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting unless prior fingerprints are on file. Ongoing registration maintenance and compliance with SAFE Act regulations are mandatory.
