Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to spearhead the development of our video streaming infrastructure. As part of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) portfolio, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and project management teams to build highly scalable and reliable video infrastructure.
  • Develop software solutions based on operations requirements, working closely with colleagues to investigate problem areas and improve system flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
Responsibilities

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving technical initiatives in partnership with senior engineers across multiple teams.
  • Growing the team by attracting diverse talent that can push technical boundaries and prioritize team success over individual goals.
  • Mentoring individuals to foster an inclusive and flexible workplace culture.
  • Proactively suggesting changes to process to enhance efficiency as the team evolves.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Ability to integrate into a large agile development project and manage rapid development cycles.
Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of technical leadership experience, prior software development experience at senior level.
  • Understanding of how a high-performing team of engineers looks like.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving results.
  • Prior experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban or similar collaborative tools.

Salary range: $130,000 - $190,000; bonus and long-term incentive eligible.
