Position Summary
The Compliance Auditor will oversee regulatory and compliance initiatives while enhancing our policies, procedures, and documentation to effectively address ESG requirements that support Fortessa's international operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Identify essential objectives and strategies, creating programs and documentation that adhere to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulations while promoting sustainable practices aligned with Fortessa's global vision.
2. Provide expert guidance on compliance issues to stakeholders, assisting them in navigating complex regulatory frameworks and integrating compliance into project planning and execution.
3. Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and controls.
4. Collaborate with various business units and external vendors to gather reportable data and conduct audits.
5. Plan and execute audit/advisory projects, prepare detailed findings, and facilitate business responses and action items.
6. Conduct thorough analyses to develop significant findings and recommend solutions for root cause remediation.
7. Monitor regulatory changes and summarize key developments for Senior Leadership, including interpretations of complex requirements.
8. Understand existing processes and lead the design/redesign of workflows to ensure consistent reporting and data governance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Environmental Management, Technology, or International Development.
- Over 10 years of experience in Finance, Audit, Operations, Risk Management, Compliance, Technology, or related fields.
- Proficiency in both German and English is highly desirable.
- Experience in corporate sustainability, operations, and sustainability reporting, strategies, and industry best practices.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, data collection, and reporting capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
