Position Summary:

The Compliance Auditor will play a critical role in overseeing regulatory and compliance initiatives while enhancing our policies, procedures, and documentation to meet ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) requirements that support Fortessa's global objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish key goals and strategies, creating programs and documentation that adhere to ESG regulations and promote sustainable practices aligned with Fortessa's global vision.
  • Offer expert guidance on compliance issues to stakeholders, assisting them in navigating complex regulatory environments and integrating compliance into project development.
  • Develop and revise compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Collaborate with various business units and external vendors to gather reportable data and conduct audits.
  • Plan and execute audit/advisory projects, prepare comprehensive findings, and facilitate business responses and follow-up actions.
  • Analyze details to derive meaningful insights and recommend solutions for root cause issues.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and summarize significant developments for Senior Leadership, interpreting complex requirements.
  • Understand existing processes and lead the design or redesign of processes to ensure consistent reporting and data governance.
  • Work collaboratively with global teams to maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and applicable international standards.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Business, Finance, Environmental Management, Technology, or International Development.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Finance, Audit, Operations, Risk Management, Compliance, Technology, or related areas.
  • Fluency in both German and English is highly desirable.
  • Experience in driving sustainability initiatives and working on sustainability reporting, strategies, and industry best practices.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of conducting audits and assessments to evaluate compliance.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, data collection, and reporting capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
