Superintendent - Education/Commercial Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multifamily residential projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, laborers, and other onsite personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to ensure project compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Manage project schedules, identify potential issues or delays, and implement solutions to ensure project completion.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, providing clear and concise communication to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven leadership skills with a strong track record in managing teams.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
