Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume the responsibilities of Revenue Integrity, ensuring facility RCPP are compliant with review and completion of WQs and charge capture.
  • Correct all Revenue Integrity errors and assist departments to maintain Revenue Integrity goals.
  • Engage with the RCIT to improve charge capture and meet with each RCPP department frequently.
  • Recommend modifications to charge capture and create monthly reports for financial leadership.
  • Bridge between clinical operations, the billing office, and IT to ensure compliance with charge capture policy.
  • Resolve charging-related billing edits and generate and review reports with all RCIT and RCPP.
  • Communicate findings and status on a weekly/monthly basis and review and correct Revenue Integrity work-queue edits.
  • Investigate account issues and follow up with solutions or escalate them to the Central Office RCIT team for resolution.
  • Participate in weekly Central Office meetings to discuss workflow, system issues, and resolution strategies.
  • Monitor high-dollar charge work-queues to ensure timely review and correction.
  • Communicate, observe, and report on charge entry discrepancies, trends, and patterns.
  • Visit practices and departments to observe standard operational flow and meet with providers and practice teams to review process and identify potential gaps.
  • Engage in continual education and training in the subject field.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in public administration or business administration, or an equivalent or equally acceptable program, and four (4) years of satisfactory, full-time paid experience in a major governmental agency or large corporation or foundation in management analysis or in operational direction, planning, coordination, or control.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory, administrative, or consultative experience.
  • Four (4) years of appropriate general experience may be substituted for a Baccalaureate degree requirement.
