Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects, and respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for major equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure contracted services are performed to the highest standards.
- Assist with the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and residents.
- Respond to emergencies and provide support as needed.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance activities.
- Previous experience in Assisted Living or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, and water supply systems.
- Knowledge of MDH State and Federal Regulations and OSHA guidelines is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks and requests.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically and perform physical tasks as required.
