Agile Project Facilitator

The ideal candidate for this position possesses 5 to 10 years of pertinent experience. The role of the Agile Project Facilitator is to maximize value delivery to clients. This individual will lead daily stand-up meetings and assist the team in adhering to the Agile delivery framework.

The Agile Project Facilitator also undertakes conventional project management responsibilities, which include: defining project scope, resource allocation, communicating project status to stakeholders, overseeing budgets, and managing risks and issues. Furthermore, they are often responsible for drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and conducting a portion of the testing phases.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support the team and product owner in transforming requirements into functional software. Monitor progress and assist the team in meeting their commitments.

· Daily monitoring of progress to identify issues and collaborate with the team to formulate corrective measures.

· Manage and report on the status of project scope, timelines, resources, and financials.

· Extract and document project requirements.

· Draft user stories and acceptance criteria.

· Ensure team members comprehend processes and aid the team in adhering to them.

· Define and communicate product quality expectations across the team.

· Collaborate with the team in scheduling tasks, including defect resolution and code refactoring, while preventing the buildup of technical debt.

· Work with technical teams and product owners to balance interests when challenges arise. Remove obstacles to allow the team to concentrate on engineering tasks.

· Lead conflict resolution within the team, eliminating barriers to collaboration.

· Facilitate project team meetings, including sprint planning, daily scrums, and sprint reviews.

· Guide retrospective discussions and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

· Minimize external distractions that the team must navigate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Degree in information technology, business, or a related field with exceptional interpersonal skills.

· Comfortable engaging with a diverse group of individuals and serving as a mediator during conflicts.

· Understanding of financial controls essential for project management and consulting roles. Practical knowledge of how to scope and estimate project work.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

EXPERIENCE:

· Background in Project Management and/or experience as an Agile Project Facilitator.

· Management of multiple significant projects concurrently.

· Previous experience as a Business Analyst and/or Tester is beneficial but not mandatory.

· Practical application of quality management tools and techniques.

· Optional Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
