Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Registered Dietitian to lead our clinical nutrition team at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. As a Hybrid Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will oversee daily operations at two locations, train and mentor a team of dietitians, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

About the Role
  • Provide strategic leadership for the clinical nutrition program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and excellence in patient care.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise a team of seven inpatient dietitians across two locations, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects, analyzing data to inform evidence-based practice.
  • Develop and implement education programs for department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Master's degree in Nutrition or related field and completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND.
  • Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) registration by CDR and commitment to obtaining certification within 120 days of hire.
  • At least 6 years of experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes, with a strong background in acute care nutrition.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
