Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Resource Label Group LLC. As a key member of our sales cycle support team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating customer orders for products via order entry and basic account servicing.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Interaction: Speak directly with internal and external customers to collect customer information and product specifications.
- Order Processing: Receive purchase orders from customers via various channels and review all aspects of the order before accepting and confirming.
- Supply Chain Management: Process new purchase orders into the system, including delivery and shipping requirements, and notify pertinent plant personnel of special orders.
- Job Routing: Route supplies, job jackets, and materials to work areas to put job orders into production.
- Customer Inquiry Resolution: Route inquiries and complaints in a timely manner, exhibiting excellent service and follow-through.
- Workload Prioritization: Prioritize workload as necessary, selecting from several alternatives to best meet the needs of the business.
- Shipping and Billing: Receive tickets for shipped or delivered products and begin the billing process, verifying shipping reports against packing lists and reviewing Customer Transaction Reports.
- Problem Solving: Identify and escalate problems in a timely manner, gather and communicate information skillfully, and work well in group problem-solving situations.
- Initiative: Assess own strengths and weaknesses, pursue training and development opportunities, and strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.
- Customer Focus: Recognize potential customer problems, escalate, and solicit help when needed, respond promptly to customer needs, and meet commitments.
- Conflict Management: Focus on solving conflict, not blaming, maintain confidentiality, listen to others without interrupting, keep emotions under control, and remain open to others' ideas and try new things.
- Communication: Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listen and get clarification, respond well to questions, and participate in meetings.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views, give and welcome feedback, contribute to building a positive team spirit, put the success of the team above own interests, and support everyone's efforts to succeed.
- Experience: One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, preferably in the printing or packaging industry.
- Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, ability to write reports and business correspondence, and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors, and customers.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and ability to read and interpret ruler, scales, and other measurement devices.
