Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop automation and control systems for industrial equipment, including PLCs, drive systems, and combustion control systems.
- Create logic and programming for SCADA and operator interface applications to enhance system monitoring and control.
- Develop databases and custom computer programs for PLC and SCADA interfaces to facilitate data management.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components using standard procedures, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare project manuals and electrical schematics using CAD software for documentation.
- Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and budgets for electrical systems to ensure project feasibility.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of SCR systems, including fluid systems, metallurgy, and maintenance, to provide expert assistance.
- Assist with on-site commissioning of SCR systems and transfer expertise to customers through training and presentations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 9 years' experience in chemical or manufacturing industries, with expertise in industrial processing equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and drive systems.
- CAD experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience with SCADA systems, HMI applications, computer programming, networking, and database management.
- Ability to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
