STUDENT ASSISTANT – RECREATION THERAPY INTERN
The Department of State Hospitals is seeking a Student Assistant-Recreation Therapy Intern to join our Rehabilitation Therapy Services team. This role is designed for individuals pursuing a degree in Recreation Therapy, providing an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Candidates with prior experience working with adult patients in psychiatric or forensic settings are highly preferred. This internship is intended for those who have completed relevant coursework and are on track to earn a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution recognized by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.
