Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at Therapy Partners Group. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming and comforting them, and assisting them into physical therapy apparel.
- Perform laundry and maintain a clean supply of linens.
- Record daily notes and provide information to patients by answering their questions and requests.
- Assist patients with exercises and strengthening techniques under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Provide equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering them to the treatment area.
- Enhance the physical therapy department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential documents.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to demonstrate active listening and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or a related field preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in customer service.
This role requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching. It also requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
