We are seeking a skilled Dinner Server to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
- Answer questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability.
- Record transactions in our MICROS system and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
