Job Summary

Boss Exteriors Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Leader to oversee the construction and installation of various exterior projects. As the Carpenter Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and other skilled laborers in the construction and installation of various exterior projects, such as siding, roofing, and windows.
  • Communicate, plan, and budget using Microsoft Office.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and safety on job sites to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to company standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Install and repair various exterior features, including siding, roofing, windows, and doors.
  • Train and mentor junior carpenters and other team members.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other contractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry and construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Organized and able to track and manage data.
  • Physically able to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
