Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter to join our team The Lead Cabinet Installer will be responsible for overseeing the installation of custom cabinets and finish carpentry work in residential settings. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work with a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the installation of custom cabinets and finish carpentry work on job sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and adherence to design
  • Coordinate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project completion
  • Install cabinets, doors, drawers, and hardware with precision and attention to detail
  • Perform finish carpentry tasks such as trimming, molding, and custom woodwork to meet high standards of craftsmanship
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation, ensuring a seamless fit and finish
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in cabinet installation or finish carpentry, with leadership experience preferred
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Ability to lead a team and work independently when required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex installations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions (if working on job sites)
