POSITION SUMMARY:

Penn State Health Community Medical Group is in search of a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to enhance our Hematology/Oncology team. This role will primarily operate within outpatient and inpatient settings, collaborating closely with physicians and other advanced practice professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients facing a variety of hematological and oncological conditions.

The successful candidate will be involved in providing treatment for patients undergoing therapies in-office and will also engage in inpatient responsibilities, including consultations and hospital rounds. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility required based on patient treatment schedules.

Participation in shared weekend call coverage is expected on a rotating basis. Previous experience in hematology/oncology, family medicine, or internal medicine is preferred.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or a baccalaureate or higher degree program that fulfills licensure requirements in the state of employment.
2. National Certification in the state of employment or in another state with reciprocity, along with licensure to practice in the state of employment.
3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
