We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join our team of professionals. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing mental health and substance abuse rehabilitative services and supports to adults with complex treatment needs. The primary focus of this position is to serve on a team comprised of four staff persons, providing direct and indirect interventions, including crisis support and behavioral health treatment. Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of documented experience working with adults in the MH/DD/SA population.
The Qualified Professional must have a strong understanding of community-based mental health and substance abuse rehabilitative services, as well as the ability to work effectively in various settings, including residential, school, workplace, and community environments. A key aspect of this role is to assist individuals in developing critical daily living and coping skills, gaining access to necessary services, and reducing psychiatric and addiction symptoms. This includes assessing client needs, arranging services, implementing comprehensive service plans, and collaborating with other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
