Caring Spiritual Support Specialist

At Liberty Hospice, we are committed to providing compassionate care to our patients and families facing terminal illness. We are seeking an experienced Hospice Chaplain to join our team.
About the Role:
- Provide spiritual support and guidance to patients and their caregivers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local clergy to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Serve as a liaison between Liberty Hospice and the community, promoting awareness and understanding of our services.
- Document visits and interactions with patients and caregivers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to deliver comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in religion, human services, theology, or philosophy from an accredited institution, or an ordained minister with a focus on counseling.
- Preferred advanced degree or certification in hospital or pastoral ministry.
- Experience in therapeutic methods, preferably in counseling and grief support.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
