Senior Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

At Metropolitan Jewish Health System, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our patients, residents, and health plan members. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Senior Data Center Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a virtual infrastructure with Microsoft Windows servers and Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services and Roles to meet the network security and application requirements of the business. This includes the maintenance and configuration of Azure and Microsoft 365, Exchange email, and a data backup system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a virtual infrastructure with Microsoft Windows servers and Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services and Roles.
- Maintain and configure Azure and Microsoft 365, Exchange email, and a data backup system.
- Establish and maintain technical procedures and oversee projects to ensure the datacenter server, storage, and Active Directory infrastructure meet the performance, security, and business needs of MJHS and participating agencies.
- Collaborate with other staff and vendors on projects and may be assigned the lead on advanced projects and special assignments.
- Provide backup to Network Specialist(s), Administrator(s), and Engineers when required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Required minimum of five years experience in designing, installing, and supporting Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure and Windows services, data networks, rack server hardware, data backups, and virtualization.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of Active Directory Roles and Services, Domain Controllers, AD Sites, Forest trusts, PKI, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Print and File services, DFS, WSUS, Office 365, and NTFS and Share permissions.
- Must have knowledge and skills working with HP servers, network and Windows performance and management tools, as well familiarity with Visio, and MS Excel.
- Must be familiar with Azure VMs, firewall policies, and virtual networks.
- Must have an understanding of IP subnetting and firewall ACLs.
- Must have a minimum of one Microsoft certificate of either MCSE, MCSA, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or Azure Administrator Associate.
- VMWare VCP certificate considered.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently or without direct supervision.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects frequently with conflicting deadlines.
- Strong problem solving and critical analysis skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:
Minimum: USD $108,609.60/Yr.
Maximum: USD $135,762.00/Yr.
