Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Structured Cabling Installation Specialist to join our team at DIVAD Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, and testing of various types of cable plant, including twisted pair, coaxial, and fiber optic cables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate cable plant, including twisted pair, coaxial, and fiber optic cables
- Test and label cables to ensure proper functionality
- Document installation and testing procedures
- Install cable pathway systems, including cable trays, cable racks, and j-hooks
- Install network devices, including displays, projectors, speakers, and wireless access points
- Work at heights, including lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops
- Exert heavy physical effort, including carrying loads up and down stairs and ladders
Requirements:
- No experience required
- Must be able to pass E-Verify and be able to work legally in the United States
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation with current auto insurance for transportation to and from customer sites
- Must be proficient in the English Language and be able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check (national level) and maintain throughout employment
Working Environment:
Our team works in a fast-paced environment, installing and maintaining network infrastructure for various clients. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy or dusty conditions, and may be exposed to chemicals and solvents. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of weather conditions.
