Job Title: Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physicist to join our East Texas Physics POD at Texas Oncology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation oncology services to our patients.

About the Role:
  • MS or PhD in Physics/Medical Physics from an accredited institution
  • 2-5 years' experience in radiation oncology physics
  • Current ABR certification or in the process (completed part 1)
  • Valid Texas state license for medical physics
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality radiation oncology services to patients
  • Collaborate with our team of physicists and dosimetrists to ensure seamless treatment delivery
  • Operate and maintain our Varian Linacs and Nucletron HDR programs
  • Develop and implement advanced treatment plans, including SBRT, SRS, HDR, and LDR
  • Provide expert guidance on radiopharmaceuticals and other treatment options
