Job Title: Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physicist to join our team at Epic Oncology Staffing. As a key member of our East Texas Physics POD, you will work alongside experienced physicists and dosimetrists to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

As a Physicist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing medical physics expertise to support radiation oncology treatments
  • Collaborating with dosimetrists and physicists to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Ensuring the safe and effective operation of Varian Linacs and HDR programs
  • Participating in quality assurance and quality control activities
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology physics
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited institution
  • 2-5 years of experience in radiation oncology physics
  • Current ABR certification or in the process of obtaining it
  • A valid Texas state license for medical physics
