About the Role

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Infrastructure Project Manager to lead our engineering design team on transportation infrastructure projects for various local agencies and clients in the Pacific Northwest.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee and guide design projects for transportation structures, including roads, highways, and bikeways.
  • Direct the project design, tracking metrics like budget, timeline, and potential risks.
  • Ensure the final work meets quality standards.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members and work with leaders in various roles within the company.
  • Assist in developing proposals and managing client relationships.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering from an ABET-accredited program required.
  • 7+ years related roadway and transportation design and project management experience required, 10+ years preferred.
  • Experience leading design tasks or serving as roadway design lead required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Oregon required.
  • Experience with ODOT or other state department of transportation required, knowledge of ODOT design standards is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office required.
  • Experience with Bentley OpenRoads/Civil 3D preferred.
  • Prior proposal development and client relationship management experience is desirable, relationships with local agencies a plus.
  • Interest in mentoring junior staff and being part of a growing team based in Portland that supports projects in the Pacific Northwest and other offices around the country.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.
  • Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
