Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our nursing staff, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the care continuum.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate patient assessment data to establish nursing diagnoses and prioritize patient needs.
  2. Develop individualized Plans of Care (POCs) based on patient assessment and realistic measurable outcomes.
  3. Deliver patient care as outlined in the POC and respond to interventions.
  4. Assign patient care tasks to and observe care given by non-RN staff members.
  5. Evaluate patient care and assess outcome achievement utilizing input from pertinent members of the healthcare team.
  6. Communicate the patient's plan of care to all members of the healthcare team and document accordingly.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited RN program required.
  • Current licensure in NYS or eligibility for limited permit to practice is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred; candidates without a BSN will be required to start a program within 2 years of hire and complete by year 6 of employment.
  • A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
  • Current BLS is required. Current certification in ACLS, PALS and NRP may be required depending on unit scope.
  • Board Certification preferred.

Salary Information

The estimated hourly salary for this position is $37.54-$53.18 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Pay is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
