Job Summary:
Raytheon Technologies is seeking an experienced firmware design engineer to work onsite in Goleta, CA to design and develop power conversion technologies for airborne military applications.

Responsibilities:
As an electrical engineer, you will work in the Hardware/Firmware Engineering Department at the Electronic Warfare Systems of Raytheon Intelligent and Space (RIS). Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and manufacturing complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications. Activities will include detailed digital design, embedded systems, and FPGA development. Specific tasks will include circuit analysis, circuit simulation, FPGA programming, design documentation, design verification and testing, and integration of hardware and software at the level of electronic components and circuit boards.

Requirements:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience designing, debugging, testing electronics hardware. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required within one year of start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
