We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services in Malvern, PA. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with complex behavioral and emotional challenges.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Devereux, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, administering medication, and taking doctor's orders. You will also provide education and coping skills to patients, including sex education, suicidal behaviors, symptom management, and self-control. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating initial care plans and assisting in discharge planning.

What We Offer
  • Competitive pay: $36-$41/hour (based on experience)
  • Shift differential: $2.50 for 3pm-11pm shifts and $5.00 for 11pm-7am shifts
  • $6,000 sign-on bonus (for external applicants only)
  • $2,000 at 90 days, $2,000 at 180 days, and $2,000 at 1 year
  • Paid license renewal CEUs as part of our nurse continuing education program
  • Paid training and professional development
  • ASCEND - Career Accelerator Program
  • Benefit eligibility after 30 days of employment

Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services is a leading provider of behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges. Our center serves children and adolescents with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges, and often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an approved school of professional nursing with an active RN license. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. You should also have at least one year of post-education nursing experience, preferably with individuals with cognitive and/or behavioral challenges or medically complex conditions. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office applications, and experience with data collection/analyzing platforms are also required.
