Job Title: Combat Engineer Specialist

As a Combat Engineer Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in supporting your fellow Soldiers in various combat and humanitarian missions. Your expertise in designing and building infrastructure, detecting and neutralizing explosive hazards, and conducting route clearance operations will be essential to mission success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct and maintain infrastructure, including bridges, roads, and defensive positions
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, such as bulldozers and cranes
  • Conduct route clearance operations to ensure safe passage for troops and equipment
  • Detect and neutralize explosive hazards, including mines and improvised explosive devices
Requirements:
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
